Join in creating "Soles for Young Souls"

As part of a cooperative effort between the Downtown Development Board, the Downtown Farmer's Market, and our community, Soles for Young Souls is a benefit concert event committed to generating no less than 1000 pairs of new shoes for many needy Central Florida children. A pair of new shoes can make such a diference in the life of a
child regarding confidence, self-esteem, and an enhanced willingness to
play full-out in the world around them. All shoes donated will be distributed among several local organizations, such as Great Oaks Village, Joshua House, the Colalition for the Homeless, in addition to several other crisis and intervention-oriented childrens' programs.

The event will take place at
Heritage Square, home of the Downtown Farmer's Market (at Central between Orange Avenue & Magnolia) on Saturday, September 13th, from 11:00am to 3:00pm, and will feature the
Hindu Cowboys; The Linda Nunez Band; Bandees; and Michael Barry.

Please bring your family, friends, and your donation of one pair of new shoes (per person in your party...middle school and high school sizes are in the greatest demand), or a cash donation of $10.00, and enjoy a beautiful afternoon at the Market, exceptional live music, and above all, a community contribution that will make a difference in the lives of many deserving children.

This event is sponsored in part by the
Downtown Development Board, Downtown Farmer's Market,
and Agape` Project.
