| Cover photography shot in 2001 by my mother, Gail Barry at Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, Oregon. My sister, Colette and I played on this beach several times a year as childen. The image on the cover of Back to My Self was shot on the same beach when I was 4 years old. See, I built my own mini haystack in the sand. Incidentally, the addition of Jai (pronounced Ji ), which in sanscrit means divine, is a modification of Jay, my given middle name. I was actually called Jay until I was age 14. At that time I began using Michael, for many reasons, as my first name. Some 30 years later, at my Reiki level one attunement, it came to me that I was to move back into my inner-child's energy of J.
